What's the Best Gift Ever?

Time is the best gift ever! Don't you agree?

Zach, Ellie and Landon took the time out of their busy football, baseball, and softball schedules in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, to come and spend the afternoon with me at Redhill Park! Their grandmother was the mastermind behind this stealth photography project. Grandma knew that her daughter and son in law didn't have many professional pictures of her kids and that this would be the perfect gift for her.

After discussing wardrobe back and forth on the phone, we finally agreed that the kids would take the lead of the wardrobe, selecting what would make them feel comfortable.. They decided on a cozy winter color scheme of red, black and gray.

The Competition

After getting several posed shots for the family gallery, I decided to throw in a little race for these competitive athletic siblings. They changed into their Nike track suits and got ready to race! I put a Snickers in front of me and had them race to get it!

Awkard Family Hug

At the very end of the session, I asked the kids to give each other a hug like in the "Awkward Family Photos". The sweet daughter, Ellie, replied, "But that is how most of our photos normally are!" This was the very last photo and turned out to be one of my favorites.

Thank you to Donna, Zach, Ellie and Landon! I hope that your parents loved your gift to them! It was so much fun photographing you!
