Good Things Come to Those Who Wait

Drew and Lauren had been patiently waiting for their wedding day.

October 2020 was their original wedding month.

Covid 19 had other plans for them.

With weddings canceled and postponed, Drew and Lauren decided to postpone their wedding until June 2021.

As luck would have it, they were able to move forward with their wedding plans and have their wedding at the gorgeous Estancia Hotel and Spa in La Jolla, Ca.

Sometimes Mothers Really Do Know Best...and Best Friends, in This Case

Who better to know of a perfect match than Mom and a best friend? Lauren's mom and Drew's best friend, Rob, set them up.

Lauren and Drew decided to go out in West Hollywood and connected immediately!

Four hours later, these two knew that they had found something special, chatting as if they had known each other forever.

The margaritas went down easy that night, and these two have been toasting ever since!

Rob, who helped set them up, served as the officiant and groomsman at the wedding, lending a personal touch to the ceremony.

Many months of planning went into this special wedding.

The beautiful floral bouquets, furnished by Leevon Floral, featured a Queen Protea flower and blush, peach and pure white Austin roses. Orange Calla lillies and orange spray roses provided a pop of color, with Queen Anne's Lace and wax flowers completing the look!

Guests were grooving to music provided by Will Chitwood at Dancing DJ Productions. Lauren's elegant dress was provided by Floravere and Drew wore a dashing tux from Ted Baker. The food, which had the guests raving, was furnished by Estancia Hotel. Delicious donuts by Upland Donuts and the elegant cake, by VG Bakery were tasty and beautiful on the dessert table! The day went smoothly as Kat at Sweet Blossom Weddings and her team kept everyone on schedule. The video was provided by Jillian and Jay at Phocal Productions. Photography was provided by Amy Flammang Photography and Jenn Lappe Photography.

First Touch

Drew and Lauren did not want to see each other before the ceremony.

Rather than doing a First Look, they decided on a First Touch, where they would not see each other, but only touch each other before the ceremony.

Lauren and I snuck outside and found the perfect corner, highlighting the architecture at Estancia. Drew, being led by the coordinator with his eyes closed,

stood back to back with Lauren as they shared a special moment right before the ceremony.

Father of the Bride First Look

Lauren and her dad opted to do a First Look. I love photographing this moment as the dad sees his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress. I can only imagine what runs through the father's head as he sees his little girl in a wedding gown! A Father of the Bride first look gives the father and daughter a few special minutes alone on the big day.

Thank you so much for inviting me along on your wedding day!
